ABOUT IASA
The main role and responsibilities of a State Manager include:
- Conducting research and field visits to gather comprehensive information on the social and economic conditions in rural areas and slums in the region.
- Identifying and mapping the key challenges and issues faced by the communities living in these areas, such as poverty, lack of access to basic services, and poor infrastructure.
- Building relationships with community leaders and members, as well as local government officials, to gather firsthand information and perspectives on the challenges and issues in these areas.
- Collecting and analyzing data on the demographics, livelihoods, and other socio-economic indicators of the communities living in rural areas and slums.
- Identifying and documenting best practices and successful interventions that have been implemented in similar contexts, to inform the development of new programs and initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining a database of information on rural areas and slums in the region, to be used as a reference for future projects and initiatives.
- Collaborating with other stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and private sector organizations, to share information and coordinate efforts to address the challenges facing rural areas and slums.
- Preparing and submitting regular reports on the findings and recommendations from the research, to inform the development of policies and programs that support the communities living in these areas.
